SIKESTON — The Sikeston City Council approved a resolution which would designate the Sikeston Convention & Visitors Bureau as the Designated Marketing Organization for Sikeston and Scott County with the Missouri Division of Tourism during their regular City Council meeting on Monday at the Clinton Building.
Council also awarded broker services for employee ancillary benefits and cafeteria plan to Mitchell Insurance. Benefits include dental, vision and life insurance.
The Council also voted to authorize the rezoning of South Ridge Estates, 23rd Addition, from agricultural to single- family residential and approved a bill for the approval of the South Ridge Estates, 23rd Addition proposed subdivision.
The next Council meeting is scheduled for Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. at the Clinton Building.
