A BNSF Railway train broke down early Tuesday, Jan. 7 in Sikeston, blocking several crossings at West North Street, West Malone Avenue and Ruth Street, according to Sikeston Department of Public Safety. The train was repaired and moving again several hours later, according to DPS. The cause of the breakdown was unknown, and calls to BNSF were not returned.
