NEW MADRID, Mo. - A man wanted for first degree intentional homicide in Wisconsin was arrested by New Madrid police officers.
Daishon Brown, 22, is being held on an arrest warrant from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for first degree intentional homicide and first degree recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
According to a news release by the New Madrid Police Department, on Aug. 29 they received information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol that Brown may be in New Madrid. Officers responded to an apartment on Blades Drive, where they located and arrested Brown without incident.
Brown currently is being held in the Mississippi County Jail in Charleston, Mo.
The New Madrid Police Department offered their thanks to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their assistance in the incident.
