Barbara Sadler

SIKESTON — Barbara Ann Sadler, age 63, died Saturday, March 17, 2025, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 13, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Donald Helms of Dixon, Tennessee, and the late Deloris Glueck Helms. She had lived in southeast Missouri where she was previously employed as a safety coordinator and restaurant manager and was of the Christian belief.  She was a loving mother and grandma.

On June 30, 1979, she married Michael Sadler, at the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1994.

In addition to her father, survivors include: her daughter, Kerri Sadler, of Sikeston; two sons, Michael (Blair) Sadler and Eric (Kenna) Sadler both of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren; Brock Michael Brown, Gavin Parker Brown, Gage Matthew Bailey, Emma Kay Sadler, Bentley Williams, Eli Williams, Michael “Trace” Glenn Sadler III, Blaine Davenport Sadler, Lily Grace Recker, Garrett Thomas Sadler, Owen Hayes Sadler, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Sheila (Kenny) Friedburg of Ashland City, Tennessee, and Lisa Callow Mitchem of Bell City, Missouri, her brother Michael (Jill) Helms of Sikeston, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a slew of grand-dogs and pets.

In addition to her husband, father and mother, she was preceded in death by her brother Chris Helms.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

A private burial will follow at a later date.
