SIKESTON — Carolyn Kay Galemore, age 72, passed away on Aug. 27, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born on July 1, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late James and Alberta “Dorothy” Moulder Galemore.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James (Angie) Grogan; one daughter, Carolyn Renee Grogan; seven grandchildren, Josh Williams, Jessica Williams, Saylor (Demeshia “Buddha”) Huddleston, Mattilyn “Tilly” Freezor, Emily Grogan, Kyle Welter and Ryan Welter; eight great-grandchildren, Carsen Williams, Jaxsen Williams, Mya Gephart, Braylen Smith, Charlee Welter, Chloe Welter, Max Welter and Hazel Welter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with John McHaffie, pastor of Sikeston First Assembly of God Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston, Missouri.
