Earnestine Hamilton

SIKESTON — Earnestine (Carter) Hamilton, 84, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston surrounded by family. She was born on Oct. 21, 1939, in Senatobia, Mississippi, to the late Earnest and Donnie Mae (Davis) Carter.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Theodie) Morris; a grandson, Pastor Kendall (Lillie) Morris; a granddaughter, Terika (D'Shaun) Howard; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Travelers Rest M.B. Church, 224 Alabama St., Sikeston. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon with Pastor Jason Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
