HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Ellee Denton Coulter-Blankenship, 60, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Aug. 27, 2004, at Hot Springs following a brief illness.
Born March 25, 1944, in Sikeston, daughter of the late William and Bess Denton, she was a 1962 graduate of Sikeston High School where she was drum major of the Sikeston Bulldogs Marching Band, a member of the Red Peppers and very active in many school activities.
Survivors include: her husband, Marvin Blankenship of Hot Springs; one brother, Fred Denton of McGehee; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Chad and Shannon Coulter of Chico, Calif., Troy Coulter of Kissimmee, Fla., and Ben Coulter of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Jim Allen of Hot Springs; two step-sons, Tim Blankenship and Bret Blankenship of Hot Springs; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs where funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Jim Frazer officiating.
Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs.
