SIKESTON — Jessie L. Booker Woods, 83, died April 29, 2019, at her home.
Born Dec. 2, 1935, in Sledge, Miss., daughter of to the late Edward and Irene Williams, she was of the Christian belief and member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church until her death. Her husband, James Woods, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: eight daughters and four sons, Annette Totton of Cape Girardeau, Barbara (Walter) Branch of New Madrid, Sandra Booker of Waukegan, Ill., Sharon Davis of Tulsa, Okla., Beverlyn (Alphonso) Hollins, Pamela (Gary) Wiggins and Kimberly Booker of Sikeston and Vivian (Addis) Butler of Sherryville, Ind., Michael (Misty) Booker of Austin, Texas, Tony Booker of St. Louis, Derrick (Alicia) Booker of Conyers, Ga., and Dwayne (Tracey) Booker of Sikeston; and 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Earl Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
