SIKESTON — Johnnie Milton Carlock, 66, died March 25, 2020, at his home.
Born Sept. 6, 1953, in Senatobia, Miss., son of the late Milton and Nellie Mae Carter Carlock Jr., he was a 1972 graduate of the Sikeston High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Navy where he served as a fireman from 1972 to 1974. He received an honorable discharge. He was of the Christian belief and a member of Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Carlock.
Survivors include: one son, Marcus Blissett of Sikeston; four brothers, Raymond Carlock of Graham, N.C., Lavern Carlock of Austin, Texas, and Joe Carlock and Maurice Carlock of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Margaret Williams and Alice Pope of Sikeston; and one grandson.
A private service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with burial following at noon at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield.
