MORLEY -- Marie Watkins, 82, died June 8, 2007, at her daughter's home in Morehouse.

Born Aug. 20, 1924, in Lilbourn, daughter of the late Walter and Norellia McCulley Graham, she had been a cook for Holiday Inn and El Capri motels before her retirement.

On June 30, 1942, she married Elmer "Boots" Watkins, who preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1993.

One son, David Watkins; and two daughters, Linda Hines and Betty Jenkins, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: four sons, Billy Wayne Watkins of Wappapello, and Danny Watkins, Elmer Watkins Jr. and Jim Watkins of Sikeston; one daughter, Ann Marie Lamb of Morehouse; and 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Randy Conn, pastor of First Baptist Church in Morehouse, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Mason Watkins, Matt Watkins, Chas Watkins, Daniel Holman, Joshua Holman and David Watkins.
