NEW MADRID -- Mary Elizabeth Darter, 14, died Dec. 15, 2011, at her home.
Born Dec. 31, 1996, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of James and Melinda Beachum Darter who survive of the home.
Other survivors include: six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Collin and Challis Beachum of St. Louis, Jimmy Darter, Kenny Darter and Josh and Angel Darter of New Madrid, Nick and Whitney Darter of Dexter and Mike Darter of Poplar Bluff; eight sisters and a brother-in-law, Teresia and Eric Shrum of Advance and Brittany Darter, Lorie Darter, Brea Darter, Bethany Darter, Mollie Darter, Sara Darter and Kathy Darter of New Madrid; her grandmother, Roberta Darter of Campbell; and six nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother; maternal grandparents, Crook and Leona Beachum; and paternal grandfather, Arlon Darter.
Visitation is scheduled for 5 p.m. today, with a prayer services at 8 p.m., at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. J. Skrzypek officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
