MALDEN -- Robert Lee Franklin Coleman Sr., 77, died April 3, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Malden.
Born June 8, 1934, in Portageville, to the late Jesse and Hazel Ruth Pyle Coleman, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden.
On Nov. 15, 1974, in North Aurora, Ill., he married Barbara Cowart who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Coleman Jr. of Gideon and David and Carolyn Coleman of Clarkton; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Debbie Coleman of Sikeston, Deneise Sharp of Gideon, Diane and Kevin Cahill of Cordova, Tenn., Lori and Michael Williams of Springfield and Tammy and Allen Kiestler and Toni Coleman of Ripley, Tenn.; three brothers, James Coleman of Moro, Ill., and Jerry Coleman and Dennis Coleman of Malden; two sisters, Loy Stephens of Bethalto, Ill., and Carolyn Shelton of St. Ann; and 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie Coleman, Ronnie Coleman and Curtis Coleman, and three sisters, Ruby Coleman, Joy Coleman and Teresa Coleman.
Services were conducted today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. The Rev. Earnest Puckett officiated.
Burial followed in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
