Rodger Lynn Miller, 75, of Sikeston, passed away on Feb. 17, 2025. A lifelong resident, he was known for his work in flooring and maintenance and his passion for hunting. He is survived by his family and friends.

SIKESTON — Rodger Lynn Miller, age 75, of Sikeston died Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 5, 1949, at Sikeston, to Bonnie M. Rodgers Miller who survives of Sikeston and the late Harry S. Miller, he had lived in Sikeston his entire life where he was a member of the Sikeston Eagles Club No. 3319. For a number of years, he worked in flooring installation before going to work in maintenance at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, from where he retired after 18 years. He was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors.

On Dec. 5, 1991, he married Donna Hankins, who preceded him in death on June 7, 2012.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his son, Patrick (Monique) Miller of Plano, Texas; his granddaughters, Makena Miller and Malia Miller; his brother, Denny (Carolyn) Miller of Bertrand, Missouri; niece, Deni Miller of Bertrand and nephew, Jason Miller of Sikeston; special friends, Bob and Kathie Evans and his close friend and hunting buddy, Matt Hawkins.

In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Barry Jackson.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
