DEXTER -- Virginia Pauline Whitaker, 89, died Dec. 31, 2007, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center.
Born May 1, 1918, in Wabash County, Ill., to the late Thomas Marion and Mabel May Medler Parker, she had lived in Dexter for the past 30 years and was a nursing home operator.
On Nov. 16, 1945, in St. Louis, she married Luther Whitaker who preceded her in death on May 29, 2007.
Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Whitaker of Dexter and Virginia Hendrix of Mt. Vernon; four sons, Aubrey Finch of Bernie and Marvin Finch, Bobby Finch and Joe Finch of Dexter; and six grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Frank Townsend of Parma will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
