Howells will mark golden anniversary

MARSTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Patsy Howell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 23. The couple were married Sept. 23, 1967, in Perryville, at the home of Darlene Lingle and the late Herbert Denbow. They have three children, Tim Howell of Benton, Marcie Roberts of Northport, Ala., and Jennifer Model of St. Louis; and three grandchildren. Howell was employed by Noranda Aluminum for 36 years, and Mrs. Howell was employed by JC Penney Co. for 28 years. Their children will host a celebration at the couple's home on Sept. 23.
