SIKESTON - Larry DeWitt makes a practice of recycling. And that is what he had in mind when he purchased the River Birch Mall, formerly Kingsway Mall. DeWitt, with the help and expertise of his Mall manager Tim Raxter, plans to redevelop, remodel and revitalize the mall. "We are changing the theme of the mall from a retail mall to a destination mall. What that means is that people will come to the mall for a specific reason. We will specialize in unique shops with those hard to find items, while maintaining incredibly low prices. That is one of our main goals for the mall," said DeWitt.
