Get to know the Braves.

Two points separate the Braves and the Bulldogs in their previous two games -- a 68-67 overtime win for Scott Central in 1971 and an 86-85 win for Sikeston last year.

Over the weekend, it hit me like a ton of bricks. We're going about this national health care crisis all the wrong way. We don't have a health care crisis. We have a health crisis. Duh! Instead of stealing money from those who have adequate health care coverage, we should instead manage health itself...

SIKESTON -- Clearing roads after Monday night's snow was easy enough for area road crews -- thanks to some timely sunshine. "Mother nature is helping us a whole bunch," Norman Brant, highway superintendent for the Scott County Road and Bridge Department, said Tuesday afternoon. "The heat from the sun is helping. Our roads are in pretty fair shape overall."...
