Lady Bulldogs drop one to Kennett

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- The Bulldogs fell behind early and couldn't recover losing its first game of the season to Kennett at home.

Adrienne Duncan led Portageville with 18 points. Dasmine Johnson added nine for the Bulldogs, who fell to 2-1.

Kennett (3-2) was paced by Heidi Shetley's 26 points. Dakayla Duckworth added 13 behind three 3-pointers and Jasmine Jones scored 10.

The Portageville Lady Dawgs have three games on the road this week, Campbell on Monday, Kelly on Tuesday and Chaffee on Thursday..

Then on Saturday, December 17, Portageville will begin play in the annual Twin Rivers Christmas Tournament. Portageville has the ninth seed and will play eight seed Greenville at 11:30.
