Veal - Oliver

HANSON, Ky. -- Abby Elise Veal and Chance Reed Oliver were united in marriage during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony June 2, 2007, in the garden of Linda Greenfield of Hanson, aunt of the bride. The Rev. Eugene Poole of Portageville, Mo. performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Betty Veal of Princeton. The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Sheila Temple of Portageville and Danny Oliver of Princeton.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an embellished tulle cap sleeve organza A-line gown with side drape detail. It featured blue beaded embroidery on the bodice and skirt and also an embellished chapel train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and calla lilies.

Maid of honor was Ashley Osborne of Princeton, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Frazier of Berea and Chelsea Norton of Hammond, La., friends of the bride, and Hillary Temple of Cuba, niece of the bridegroom.They wore red strapless ballgowns with pick-up detailing and sashes around the waist. Flower girl was Danielle Oliver, daughter of Danny Oliver of Princeton and sister of the bridegroom.

Serving his brother as best man was Yancey Temple of Cuba. Aaron Bidewell and Barry Dennison of Jonesboro, friends of the bridegroom; and Brady Oliver of Princeton, cousin of the bridegroom, served as groomsmen. They wore Tommy Hilfiger tuxedos.

Ring bearer was Barrett Cotton, son of Chris and Angela Cotton of Princeton and cousin of the bride.

Donnie Oliver of Nashville, Tenn., brother of the bridegroom; and Chad Veal of Dallas, brother of the bride, were ushers.

A reception followed in the garden, where guests were served by aunts of the bride, all of Princeton.

A wedding trip is planned for a later time.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Oliver are making their home in Virginia Beach, Va.
