WYATT - Mildred R. Sevic, 94, died at 4:25 p.m. Sept. 14, 2007, at the Charleston Manor.

Born March 20, 1913, in Dardanelle, Ark., to the late Wiley and Virginia Turner Hicks, she had lived in Mississippi County for most of her life and attended the First Baptist Church in Wyatt.

On Dec. 25, 1933, she married Frank Sevic, who preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1994.

Two brothers, Bill Hicks and James Hicks, two sisters, Edith Cossey and Barness Coffey; and one grandson, Scott Sevic, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Wiley Sevic of Bertrand; three daughters, Ann Badgley of Charleston, Linda McVay of Jackson and Judy Sevic of Wyatt; one brother, Frank Hicks of Atkins, Ark.; two sisters, Ruby Neeley of Ola, Ark. and Mary Sue Pearson of Dardanelle; and 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday. Kenneth Gibson, pastor of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church of Wyatt, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Frank Sevic, Barry Sevic, Wiley Joe Sevic Jr., Bob Crowley, Eric Crowley, Todd Badgley, Greg Pope and Carey Snodgrass.
