CHARLESTON - A Charleston man was arrested after drugs and firearms were found at a residence.
According to Charleston Public Safety Director Paul Johnson, a search warrant was served at 6 a.m. Sunday by the Charleston Department of Public Safety at 719 W. Marshall St. During the search, officers located crack cocaine, cash and firearms.
Officers located and detained four adults found inside the residence. Formal charges were filed against Barry Boyce, 27.
Boyce is currently incarcerated at the Mississippi County Jail on charges of distribution of a controlled substance. A $100,000 cash bond is set.
The investigation continues, Johnson said, with further charges pending against Boyce and the other occupants of the house.
