VIENNA -- Lois Elnora Taylor, 87, died at 2:30 a.m. May 1, 2004, at the Maries Manor Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 4, 1916, in Portageville, daughter of the late J.C. and Nola Johnson Jamerson, she had lived in Licking for several years and was of the Baptist belief.

On Oct. 5, 1932, in Portageville, she married Everett M. Taylor who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1967.

Survivors include: two sons, Jim Taylor of Bascom, Fla., and Harold Taylor of Rockford, Ill.; two daughters, Barbara Haneline of Licking and Doris Taylor of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Roy Jamerson of Bonne Terre and Harvey Jamerson of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Cassie Gould of Bastrop, Texas, and Marlene Meadows of Lesterville; and 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

One son, Robert Dale Taylor; two brothers; and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is after 11 a.m. Monday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Mark Odle officiating.
