ST. CHARLES - Opal Harlan, 89, formerly of Grayridge, died Aug. 27, 2004, in St. Charles.
Born Aug. 16, 1915, in Grayridge, she was the daughter of the late Wiley and Effie Garner.
Her husband, Edmond H. Harlan, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Helen Martin and Karen Wynne Davis of St. Charles; two sisters, Leo Lasater and Nola Pattengill of St. Louis; three brothers, Russ Garner, Carroll Garner and Loman Garner of Sikeston; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
One brother, Hanford Garner, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at noon at the Stygar Florissant Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Breeze Park Skilled Nursing Facility in St. Charles.
Stygar Funeral Home of Florissant is in charge of arrangements.
