BLOOMFIELD - Lesley Jean Lancaster, 57, died Aug. 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born July 13, 1947, at Painton, son of Clarisa Stewart Lancaster of Randles and the late Robert Lancaster, he graduated in 1965 from Bell City High School. BLOOMFIELD - Lesley Jean Lancaster, 57, died Aug. 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 13, 1947, at Painton, son of Clarisa Stewart Lancaster of Randles and the late Robert Lancaster, he graduated in 1965 from Bell City High School. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired as an assembler for the Chrysler Corporation in St. Louis after 30 years of service.

On Jan. 4, 1971, in St. Charles, he married Karen Merick who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one daughter, Melissa Lancaster of Bloomfield; three brothers, Robert Lancaster of Overland, Wesley Lancaster of Villa Ridge and Allan Lancaster of Sikeston; and one grandson, Johnny McMichael of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Lancaster; and two brothers, Larry Lancaster and Dennis Lancaster.

Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. The Revs. Jack Owens and Bob Murray will officiate.

Full graveside military rites will be conducted at the Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
