PUXICO -- Opal E. Miller, 91, died Aug. 15, 2004, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born June 12, 1913, in rural Bloomfield, daughter of the late Samuel and Berttie Harper Jenkins, she had lived in the Puxico area her whole life, where she was a member of the Corinth General Baptist Church.

On Aug. 17, 1932, in Dexter, she married Arnold E. Miller who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1992.

One brother, Oral Jenkins; and two sisters, Neta Cox and Loma Yeager, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, James D. Miller and Rodger W. Miller of Puxico; three daughters, Doris Hoggard of Springfield and Nancy Foster and Berttie Foster of Festus; and 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 8 a.m. until time for services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Bob Bradford of Chaffee will officiate.

Burial will follow in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
