Oscar Long

KENNETT - Oscar Long, 63, died May 7, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 25, 1940, in Wardell, son of the late Steve and Elizabeth Baker Long, he was employed by the Little River Drainage District for many years before retiring.

Survivors include: four brothers, Robert Long of Hayti, Steve Long of Gideon, Lucky Long of St. Louis and Donald Long of Caruthersville; and one sister, Mary Wade of Sikeston.

One brother, Jerry Wayne Long, preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Wednesday until service time at 2 p.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. The Rev. Mark Inman will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
