LONOKE, Ark. - Frank A. Stanley, 70, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 17, 2003, at the University Hospital in Little Rock. Born Jan. 5, 1933, in Hayti, Mo., to Mildred Warren Stanley of Sikeston and the late Roy K. Stanley, he graduated with a master's degree in agronomy and served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in Little Rock from 1980 until 1991 when he moved to Lonoke. A retired farmer, he ministered in a truck stop ministry at the Petro Truck Stop in Little Rock...

LONOKE, Ark. - Frank A. Stanley, 70, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 17, 2003, at the University Hospital in Little Rock.

Born Jan. 5, 1933, in Hayti, Mo., to Mildred Warren Stanley of Sikeston and the late Roy K. Stanley, he graduated with a master's degree in agronomy and served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in Little Rock from 1980 until 1991 when he moved to Lonoke. A retired farmer, he ministered in a truck stop ministry at the Petro Truck Stop in Little Rock.

On Feb. 1, 1953, at Matthews, Mo., he married Jean Robbs, who survives of the home.

In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by three sons, Dana Stanley and Allen Stanley of Lonoke and Vinn Stanley of Bryant; one daughter, Laura Vaught of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Letha Stanley and Sarah Beth Stanley of Bryant and Ashley Vaught of Little Rock.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Caston Countz, pastor of the First Christian Church in Matthews, and the Rev. Tom Geers, pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
