SIKESTON - James M. Seay, 59, died Nov. 18, 2003, at his home.

Born Jan. 17, 1944, in East Prairie, son of the late William and Eula Jackson Seay, he was of the Nazarene belief. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had worked in the maintenance department for Bunny Bread.

On Jan. 12, 1990, he married Carolyn Lizenbee who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Chad Seay of Little Rock, Ark., Cory Seay of Tampa, Fla., and Clay Seay of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Kim Presson of Diehlstadt and Kelley Quertermous of Pacific; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Danny Kralemann of Jackson and Christy and Shawn Byrd of Sikeston; one sister and brother-in-law, Orine and George Hatton of Lone Oak, Ky.; one half sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Jim Sutton of Matthews; four grandsons; and two stepgrandchildren, Bailey Kralemann of Jackson and Austin Byrd of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Seay; and one half sister, Shirley Cloys.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
