Rodger Lambert

EAST PRAIRIE - Rodger Lambert, 55, died at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 11, 1946, at Wolf Island, son of Juanita King Moore of East Prairie and the late Marvin Lambert, he was a retired service station owner and member of the Wolf Island Baptist Church.

On Dec. 10, 1965, at Wolf Island, he married Pat Barnes who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by: two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Brad Keck and Jill and Cory Bell of East Prairie; three brothers, Ernest Moore, Richard Moore and Carl Moore of East Prairie; two sisters Mary Wagner of Mattawan, Ill., and Joyce Winchester of Sikeston; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Maderson Moore; and one grandson, Bradley Mathis "Matt" Keck.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Fred Girdwood, pastor of the First Baptist Church of East Prairie, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
