MOREHOUSE - Morehouse Elementary School held a talent show April 16 with students competing for first, second and third place trophies in three age categories. Winners were: kindergarten/first grade: Marsha Towe, Jason Pounds, Leah Evans; second/third grade: Robert Newman, Kristal Ward, Brant Morris, Shan McCanless, Don Bewley, Larry Wofford and Derek Clark. Fourth/fifth: Chris McCanless, Jennifer Buck, Atundra Horne, Bethany Wilson, Emily Schuchart and Corey McNew.

SIKESTON - Twenty-five Sikeston Middle School seventh grade students recently participated in the Talent Identification Program conducted by Duke University in Durham, N.C. Rebecca Dixon and Matt Drake, have been invited to attend a state recognition ceremony at Drury College June 2 in Springfield for high scoring Talent Search participants.
