SCOTT CITY -- Robert Lee Camp Sr., 75, died at 12:46 p.m. Dec. 26, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 4, 1928, in Green County, Ark., son of the late Andrew Louis and Sue Lawrence Camp, he was a clerk for the Cotton Belt Railroad.

On Oct. 1, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., he married Geneva I. Breedlove who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Robert Camp Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Andrew Camp of Scott City; two sisters, Janis Clarke of Jonesboro, Ark., and Connie Hansen of Pocatello, Ind.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and four infant brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City. The Rev. Dennis Bell officiated.

Burial followed in the Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.

Pallbearers were: Jim Davidson, Nordie Ancell, Sonny Davidson, William Wilthong, Earl Simpson and Don Venable.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City was in charge of arrangements.
