ST. PETERS - Marjorie R. Tope Symns, 80, formerly of Lilbourn, died Feb. 3, 2004, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.
Born Dec. 28, 1923, in Lilbourn, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Hepsy Tope.
Her husband, John W. Symns, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Harriet A. Tucker and Laura L. and Gary Brown of St. Peters and Deborah K. and Allen Biddlingmeier of St. Charles; one son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Nancy Symns II of Belleville, Ill.; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen S. Symns; and four brothers, Fred Tope, Harry Tope, Dale Tope and Doug Tope.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. Saturday until time for a memorial service at 4 p.m. at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
