FLORISSANT - Homer D. Outlaw, 95, formerly of Lilbourn, died Feb. 2, 2004 at St. Sophia Health Care in Florissant.

Born Oct. 21, 1908, in Lee County, Miss., son of the late Jeff and Cora Outlaw, he was a member of the Catron Baptist Church and lifelong member of Local Carpenters Union in Cape Girardeau.

In 1931, he married Lucille Johnson who preceded him in death in May 1980.

Survivors include: one son, Dean Outlaw of Florissant; one daughter, Betty J. Outlaw of Florissant; two sisters, Erma Pfeffer of Catron and Varnell Oswalt of Aaron, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Debbie Tesson of Florissant, DeAnn Gueck of Wildwood and Dean Outlaw of O'Fallon; and six great-grandchildren, Kelsey Outlaw and Kylie Outlaw of O'Fallon, Max Tesson and Alex Tesson of Florissant and Conrad Gueck and Ava Gueck of Wildwood.

Also preceding him in death were one great-granddaughter, Kaylie Outlaw; and three brothers and one sister.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time at noon at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn. James Swiney, former pastor of Catron Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
