DEXTER - Albert T. Wilson, 81, died Nov. 12, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born March 4, 1923, in Clarksville, Ark., son of the late John and Orene Norvell Wilson, he lived in St. Charles, Ill., before moving to Dexter in 1997 and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter and retired from Allis Chalmers. He was an airplane mechanic with the U.S. Air Force in World War II and was awarded three Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal.

On April 3, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., he married Lois J. Hammonds who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, the Rev. Al Wilson and Jerry D. Wilson of Dexter; one daughter, DeDee J. Webb of Dexter; two brothers, Elmer Wilson of South Elgin, Ill., and Herman Wilson of Paragould, Ark.; one sister, Marie Smith of Edwardsberg, Mich.; and nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Walter Wilson, Johnny Wilson and Luther Wilson; and one sister, Ada Lanam.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Michael Kohlbaker of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
