Nana Hodges

DEXTER - Nana Lou Hodges, 76, died May 11, 2004, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.

Born Jan. 10, 1928, in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of the late Elihu and Bethany McAlister Jones Sr., she attended the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter.

On Oct. 11, 1944, at Matthews, she married Paul Hodges who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Doyal Hodges of St. Louis and Patrick Hodges of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Paula Ulmer of Treadwell, N.Y., and Katrina Hatfield of Fenton; two brothers, Ira Jones and Elihu Jones Jr. of Clarksville; three sisters, Eula Owens of Lamar, Ark., Iva Rushing of Clarksville and Earlene Davis of Russellville, Ark.; and 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Hodges; and four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Mike Kohlbaker will officiate.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
