A grand opening

The Scott County Health Department held a grand opening ribbon cutting April 23 at its new location, 102 Groves Estates Court. Cutting the ribbon is Betty Wright, widow of Raymond Wright, who was the chairman of the board for the center. Present for the ceremony were board members Derek Wheeler, Dr. Robert Ahlvin, Linda Boyd and Duane DeCota. Also pictured are employees of the center: Barry Cook, Jeanne Stalker, Charlotte Griffin, Karen Evans, Brenda Freed, Stacey Dame, Amy Whitten, Carla Powell, Ann Burns, Karren Menz, Jan Barkett, Angela Caudle, Tammy Chandler and Courtnie Harris; and Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce members. Not present was board member Dr. Cully Bryant.
