ANNISTON - John T. and Patty A. Ray are the parents of their second daughter, born at 7:37 a.m. May 20, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Johnna Nicole Ray weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

The former Patty Burns, Mrs. Ray is the daughter of Donna Housman of Anniston and the late Larry Burns.

Ray, son of John Dee Ray of Anniston and Debbie Barker of East Prairie, is employed by Delta New Holland.

DEXTER - Steven and Amanda Ulmer are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 11:12 a.m. May 23, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare North in Poplar Bluff. Preston Zachary Ulmer weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 3/4-inches long.

Mrs. Ulmer is the former Amanda Cribbs, daughter of Daniel and Susan Cribbs. She is a licensed practical nurse for the Kneibert Clinic in Poplar Bluff.

Ulmer, son of Charles and Lorita Ulmer, is employed by Terminix Pest Control in Sikeston.

Maternal great-grandparents are Russ and Allene Weekley.

SIKESTON - JoAnn Thompson and Andrew Leal are the parents of their eighth child, fourth daughter, born at 4:11 p.m. June 5, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Kaylinn Marie Leal weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Thomason, daughter of Patricia and Coary Chism of Sikeston, is a cashier for Wal-Mart.

Leal, son of Faustino Leal Sr. and Gregoria Leal of George West, Texas, is employed by Good Humor-Breyers.
