Health Facilities Rehab goes 8-0
Wins YMCA 11-13 softball league
SIKESTON -- Health Facilities Rehab took first place in the YMCA 11-13 girls league this year, finishing with a record of 8-0.
"The girls had an outstanding season in which everyone contributed in both offense and defense," said HF Rehab coach Jerry Patterson. "We had great support from the parents getting everyone to practices and games on time."
Emily Taylor and Elizabeth Heeb shared pitching duties, as well as playing first base. Kaycie Williams was the catcher for the season. Tess Marshall and Kersti Jennings rotated at shortstop and left field.
Jessica Buttry and Brittany Mills played second and right field. Rebecca Patterson and Casey Henderson played third base and left center. Kortney Cook played right center field.
"The team would like to thank everyone that came out and supported us this season," said Patterson. "We would like to express our gratitude to Health Facilities Rehab for sponsoring us. We also appreciate the YMCA for the chance to have this team and league."
Dan Marshall was the assistant for the team.
