Parker -- McCoy

SIKESTON -- Michael and Dawn Parker have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Leeann, to Jamie Kyle McCoy, son of Harold and Sandra McCoy of Sikeston.

Parker is the granddaughter of Virginia Parker of Dexter and the late Mary Margaret and William H. Poyner and Archie Parker. A 1998 graduate of Sikeston High School, she will graduate in 2004 with a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. An intern for Eckerd Drug, she is a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association - Academy of Students of Pharmacy.

Also a 1998 graduate of Sikeston High School, the prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Oadis Clayton of East Prairie and the late John Clayton and Monroe and Estelle McCoy. He attended Hannibal-LaGrange College and the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a supervisor for Costco Wholesale.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in a May 31 ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.
