SCOTT CITY - Virginia Ann Vincent, 80, died at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 8, 2002, at Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau.
Born Aug. 26, 1922, in Benton, daughter of the late August and Pauline Glastetter Glueck, she worked as a seamstress for the Lowenbaum Dress Factory and also in the housekeeping department at the Ramada Inn before retiring. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Ann Ladies Sodality in Kelso.
On June 1, 1967, in Cape Girardeau, she married James Emerson Vincent who preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1991.
She is survived by two brothers, John A. Glueck and Charles B. Glueck of Scott City.
One brother also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where a parish rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery at Kelso.
Pallbearers will be: Bernard Glueck, Jim Glueck, Charles Klughart Jr., Chris Klughart, Johnathon Knudson and John Glueck.
