SIKESTON -- Patrick and Joyce Stephenson have announced the engagement of their daughter, Heather Marie Sloan, to Andrew Roy VanVickle, son of Roy and Patricia VanVickle of Matthews.
A 2002 graduate of Sikeston High School, where she was a member of the Drama Club and Red Peppers, the future bride is employed by Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
VanVickle graduated from New Madrid County Central High School and is also employed by Sells Rest Home.
The couple will exchange wedding vows in an April 5 ceremony.
