CAPE GIRARDEAU - Cynthia Sue Pigg and Chadwick William Boehlke were married in a ceremony on May 18, 2002, at the Old Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau before the Rev. Jeff Sippy, pastor.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Judy Pigg of Sikeston and the bridegroom is the son of Frank and Yvonne Boehlke of Ozark.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an embroidered short sleeved candlelight color sheath style bridal gown. The sweetheart neckline and long detachable train complemented the design. Her two-tier bridal veil was secured with a headband embellished with beadwork and she carried a bouquet of tulips and irises.
Beth Bala of Columbia served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Boehlke of St. Louis, sister-in-law of the bridegroom and Kelle Sadler of Mountain Grove, friend of the bride. Emily Koster of Carlinville, Ill., wore a long white gown as she attended her cousin as miniature bride and flower girl Ashley Vaught of Sikeston wore a pink and white tulle dress.
The women in the wedding party wore two-piece ensembles featuring a white embroidered top with long skirts. The maid of honor's skirt was pink and the bridesmaids wore dark blue and light blue skirts.
Lyndon Boehlke of St. Louis, attended his brother as best man. Serving as groomsmen were David Boehlke of Ozark, brother of the bridegroom and Michael Pigg of West Chester, Pa. Ring bearer was Joseph Fester of Hardin, Ill., cousin of the bride and Kirk Sanford of Perryville, friend of the bridegroom, served as an usher.
