Mrs. Dowdy, daughter of Daniel Wayne Creg and Dena Lynn Creg, is employed by Pizza Hut.

Dowdy, son of Richard Dowdy and Rose Connor, is employed by the Missouri Department of Corrections.

CHARLESTON - Heather Quinn is the mother of her first child, a son, born Sept. 26, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Malik Isaiah Quinn weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

Grandparents are Rosa Davis and Barry Williams.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Scott Robert and Tammy Sharlene Kwikkel Bucher are the parents of their fifth child, fourth son, born at 8:31 a.m. Sept. 27, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Camden Thure Scott Bucher weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

The former Tammy Freeman, Mrs. Bucher is a student and daughter of Henry Freeman of Sikeston and Noreen Smith Belker of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Bucher, son of Robert Bucher and Joan Swanson Bucher of Louden, Tenn., is self-employed as president and chief financial officer of Imo's.

SIKESTON - Jessica McCoy and Michael Norwood are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 9:58 p.m. Sept. 28, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Jasmine Marie Norwood weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 3/4-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Patty McCoy and Jeff McCoy.

Paternal grandparents are Terrie Norwood and Kenneth Norwood.

CHARLESTON - Shondra Lindell and Kamarlius Smith are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 5:06 a.m. Sept. 29, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Kaishoina Hijirah Smith weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce and was 17-inches long.

Maternal grandmother is Shirley Lindell.

Paternal grandparent is Jackie Smith.
