Katherine Green

EAST PRAIRIE - Katherine N. Green, 95, formerly of St. Louis, died Nov. 5, 2002, at her home.

Born March 18, 1907, in Paris, Tenn., daughter of the late Monroe Calvert and Flora Bessie Nickles Morris, she lived in East Prairie since 1966. She had worked in the dry cleaning industry in St. Louis and was a member of St. James General Baptist Church in East Prairie.

On June 19, 1979, she married William H. "Bill" Green who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1994.

Surviving are one brother, Will Morris of East Prairie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with David Dowdy, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
