Herndon - Lewis

SPRINGFIELD - Dr. Mitze Rene' Herndon and Dr. Bradley Campbell Lewis were united in marriage in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony June 29, 2002, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Springfield. The Rev. William Moore performed the ceremony. Jennifer Hall of Springfield served as reader.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Lynn and Cindy Herndon of Springfield.

Her husband is the son of Kenny and Donna Allen of Sikeston and William and Krista Lewis of Dyersburg, Tenn.

The bride's white strapless organza gown was accented with beads and pearls.

Music for the occasion was provided by organist Bill Morrow and soloists Shannan Underwood and Brenda Neuhaus.

Maid of Honor was Kari Herndon of Springfield and bridesmaids were Jamie Smith and Laura Allen of Sikeston and Shannan Underwood, Deanne Wilson and Julie Osdieck of Springfield.

John Allen of Sikeston served the bridegroom as best man. Groomsmen were Eric Post of Springfield, Jason Green, Kent Stallings and Jeremy Ryan of Sikeston and Charles Agee of Nashville, Tenn. Serving as ushers were Brian Gallagher of Springfield, Rob Bratcher of Columbia, Mark Ladd of St. Louis and Brad Blanchard of Sikeston. Robert "Trey" Smith III of Sikeston was ring bearer.

The wedding reception was held at the Highland Springs Country Club.

Following a honeymoon cruise the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Springfield.
