EAST PRAIRIE - Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Moore of East Prairie and Don Dixon of Sikeston have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nancy "Beth," to Marcus Hopkins, son of John Hopkins of Holcomb and the late Nelda Hopkins.
The future bride graduated in 1993 from East Prairie High School and is a customer service representative at First State Community Bank in Portageville.
A 1990 graduate of Holcomb High School, the prospective bridegroom attended and completed the Southeast Missouri Police Academy in 1998, where he was commissioned as a peace officer. He is a deputy sheriff with the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department.
Relatives and friends are invited to the weddingwhich is scheduled at 4 p.m. June 15 at the First Baptist Church in East Prairie.
