SIKESTON -- Michele Elizabeth Moll and Peter John "Mark" Markow III were married in a 6 p.m. ceremony June 12, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Bill Koch, senior pastor, performed the ceremony. Scripture readers were Kelly Lynn Jeans of Jackson, Miss., and Thomas Allen Moll of Fort Smith, Ark.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Janet Moll of Sikeston and parents of the bridegroom are Pete and Jenny Markow of Jackson, Miss.

Music for the occasion was provided by vocalists Steve and Patti McPheeters and Robin Burwell. Darren Steelman performed trumpet, organist was Judy Nickell and pianist was Cheryl Jeans.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride's Jasmine Couture gown was fashioned in ivory satin-faced organza over Kisaki satin, which featured a strapless sweetheart neckline with jeweled embroidery on the bodice. The mock two-piece creation was encircled with a satin band around the waist and scalloped edge at the bottom of the bodice. The simple A-line skirt was enhanced by a chapel-length train. Her crystal and jeweled headpiece was adorned with a double-tiered candlelight English illusion veil, bordered with a narrow organza trim.

Alison Moll of Sikeston attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Bellah of Chicago, Megan Boyer of St. Louis, Lori Bunting of Sikeston, Tracie Denny of Ocean Springs, Miss., Kindal Jeans of Jackson, Miss., Elizabeth Lee of Dallas, Charlotte Noel of Southaven, Miss., and Kathryn Tompkins of Florence, Ala.

Flower girls were Anna Morgan Harrington and Alexis Brooke Harrington, daughters of Harper and Mary Harrington of Southaven.

Peter John Markow Jr. served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Majure Markow, brother of the bridegroom, Taylor Burwell, George Haymans IV, Breck Hines, Neilson Raggio and Wright Scott, all of Jackson, Miss.; and Nicholas Aronson and Jeremy Smith of Atlanta.

Ring bearers were Zachary Aaron Campbell, son of Rick and Robyn Campbell of Ellisville and Carl Phillip Markow Jr., son of Carl and Michelle Markow Sr. of Nashville, Tenn.; and ushers were William Ryan Gipson of Sikeston and John Dalzell Peet III of Avon, Colo.

Guest book attendant was Mary Shepard Moll of Fort Smith and program attendants were Catherine Alexander Moll of Fort Smith, Katrina Gisele Moll of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and April Renee Steiman of Sedalia. Rice girls were Mary Ball Ruffin Markow and Julia Saunders Markow of Jackson, Miss., and Candi Jo Spencer, Crystal Dawn Spencer and Jamie Lynn Spencer of Pleasant Hill. Wedding coordinator was Courtney Bedell.

The wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Sikeston.

Helen's Florist provided decorations for the wedding and reception. The meal was catered by Susie's Bake Shoppe and Heppe's Heirloom Photography of Charleston photographed the event. Entertainment was provided by Ivory Joe and the Midnight Howlers of Nashville, Tenn.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bridegroom's parents, was held at Bo's Barbecue and Grill the evening before the wedding.

Following a honeymoon trip to Sandals Montego Bay, Jamaica, Mr. and Mrs. Markow are making their home in Southaven, Miss.
