HOWARDVILLE -- Hattie Mae Branch, 91, formerly of Lilbourn, died Dec. 27, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Center in New Madrid. HOWARDVILLE -- Hattie Mae Branch, 91, formerly of Lilbourn, died Dec. 27, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Center in New Madrid.

Born March 15, 1913, in Walls, Miss., daughter of the late Lonnie and Mary Etter Bailey McKay, she had lived in Lilbourn for over 81 years. She was a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn, where she was a member of the Mother Board.

In 1929, she married David Branch who preceded her in death in 1984.

Survivors include: one son, Lee Edward Branch of Leewood, Kan.; five daughters, Gladys Lee of N. Chicago, Ill., Eddie Mae Carter, Irene Gardner and Erma Myers of Chicago and Hattie Clark of Leewood; two brothers, Robert McKay of Chicago and Otis McKay of Osceola, Colo.; two sisters, Mary Baskerville of Patterson, N.J. and Emma Treadwell of Howardville; and 67 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren, 98 great-great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until time for service at 1 p.m. at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn. The Rev. Ernest Willis will officiate.

Burial will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.

Williams Funeral Home of Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
