GREENTOWN, Ind. - Jimmie Lee Curd, 57, formerly of Morehouse, Mo., died Nov. 12, 2004, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and Health Center in Dayton, Ohio.
Born Jan. 15, 1947, in Morehouse, son of the late Raymond and Irene Marie Breeden Curd, he was a 1965 graduate of Morehouse High School and Ivy Tech. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, was employed by Delco Electronics and was a self-employed artist. He was a member of the Eastern Woodland Carvers Club and National Woodcarvers Association.
On Nov. 8, 1969, in Atlanta, he married Barbara J. DeLong who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Jason M. Curd of Indianapolis; one daughter, Lori Curd of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Clydie and Dyer Garner of Sikeston, Mo.; and several aunts and uncles.
Services were conducted Nov. 16 at the Ellers Mortuary.
Burial followed in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Greentown.
