CHARLESTON - Carla M. Shaviss is the mother of her second son, born Aug. 8, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Tyrail Shontae Shaviss weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Shaviss, daughter of Ola Owens, is a home aide provider with the Visiting Nurse Association.

BLOOMFIELD - Brandye Michelle and Donald Gene Watson are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 9:29 a.m. Aug. 8, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Logan Hunter Watson weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Watson is a certified nurse aide.

Watson is employed by Specialty Products.

PORTAGEVILLE - Lorrine Renee King is the mother of her fourth child, second son, born at 12:44 a.m. Aug. 9, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Kenyon Kereem Robinson weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 17 3/4-inches long.

Grandparents are Hattie Ray and Bud Jones.

PARMA - Ken Ozbun Jr. and Ashley Gee are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 5:14 p.m. Aug. 9, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Jordan Christopher Ozbun weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 3/4-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Lisa and Billy Shafer and Ted and Patricia Gee.

Ozbun, son of Ken and Angela Debun and Linda Carter, is a laborer.

Grandparents are Lori Rodgers and John Rodgers.

SIKESTON - Dave and Maria Mata are the parents of their second daughter, born Aug. 9, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Alexandra Mata weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Mrs. Mata is the daughter of Reyes and Maria Ruelas.

Mata, son of Leonardo and Olga Mata, is night manager for O'Reilly.

SIKESTON - Terry Lee and Heather Marie Pemberton are the parents of their second son, born at 8:21 a.m. Aug. 9, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Corbin Lee Bruce Pemberton weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21-inches long.

The former Terry Shockley, Mrs. Pemberton is the daughter of Bruce and Charlotte Shockley of East Prairie and is employed by the North Ridge Veterinary Hospital.
